Imam Shafi'ee (ra) too on the other hand relied very much on the knowledge of Ahadith and Sunnah which Imam Ahmad Hambal (ra) possessed. In his reply to Al-Mansoor, the Imam excused himself by saying that he did not regard himself fit for the post offered. It is written in Muqaddama Fathul Bari pg 483, “Ismail accused Bukhari and was surprised that why does Bukhari consider the Ahadith of Abu Salih Juhani as evidence when it is not Mutassil.” IMAM AHMAD IBN MUHAMMAD HAMBAL (ra) Despite of this, Imam Bukhari ﺭﺣﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻠﮧ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ says, “ ﺳﮑﺘﻮﺍ ﻋﻦ ﺭﺃﻳﻪ ï»­ ﺣﺪﯾﺜﺎ ”. His title is 'Naasirun Sunnah'. Abu Abdullah Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hambal Shaibani Al-Maruzi was of pure Arab descent whose ancestery joins Hazrat Ebrahim (as). He was born in Rajab 150 A.H. IMAM MAALIK IBN ANAS (ra) - POLITICAL ERA Their unanimous ruling was the basis of any verdict in the court of Madina in matters of Fiqah. .And he is the most knowledgeable amongst them (Imam Malik and Sufyan) and better Muhaqqiq and Mudaqqiq.’”, “Abu Yusuf al-Thawri says, ‘I follow Imam Abu Hanifah in majority of issues.’”, “Yahya bin Sa’eed Qattan says, ‘We have not heard an opinion better than that of Imam Abu Hanifah and thus we give fatwa on his qawl.’”, “Ibn al-Mubarak says, ‘I have seen Mus’ir ask questions and benefit from the study circles of Imam Abu Hanifah.’”, In Khayrat al-Hisaan, pg 26, it is stated by Ibn Jarir ﺭﺣﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻠﮧ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ : He belonged to a prominent religious family of Dehli. It is said that Imam was taken out each day and given ten lashes until he had received 110 lashes. Then according to the standards of Ghair Muqallideen, does Sahih Bukhari not become the weakest of all books? (b) Yakthibul Hadith: Lies in matters of Hadith People continued to flock and before the Janaza could be finally taken for burial, the Salaatul Janaza was offered 6 times in all. Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim, and Imam Tirmizi (ra) were also amongst his noteworthy students. 1,300 people have reported Ahadith from him. Realizing that the end was near, the Imam prostrated in prayer and passed away in this condition in the month of Rajab, 150 A.H. He had great regard for Imam Malik. Taking into account future visits to the Imam, he spent 10 years with Imam Muhammad. Abu Abdullah Malik ibn Anas ibn Malik ibn Abi Aamir (ra) was born in Madina in the year 93 A.H. (714 A.C) He lies buried in the Jannatul Baqi in Madina. A large number of Sahaba (ra) were sent to this new city to settle here by Umar (ra). At the age of 20, (170 A.H./785 A.C.) he went to Madina and became a student of Imam Malik (ra) who was greatly impressed with the young student who had memorized the Muatta. Imam Abu Hanifa (ra) had joined his father's business wherein he showed scrupulous honesty and fairness. His mother was a Yemeni of the famous Bani Azd tribe. In Tareekh Ibn Khalqan vol.2 pg 134, it is stated, “Imam Bukhari narrated from Imam Thehli in 30 places and has not mentioned his name anywhere. In Tabqat al-Shafi’iyyah, Vol.12, pg 12, it is stated, “Imam Thehli said, ‘He who visits the study circle of Imam Bukhari should not come to us as people of Baghdad have written to us that Imam Bukhari does kalam in the case of the words of the Qur’an (being created or uncreated) and we told him not to do so. He used to say, "How can I ride an animal whose feet tramples the ground in which lies resting of the Master (saw). He lies buried in the Jannatul Baqi in Madina. It was due to the recommendation of Imam Muhammad (the state Qazi and student of Imam Abu Hanifa) that Imam Shafi'ee was discharged. Imam Bukhari (RA)’s Visit to Masjid Al Nabwi. Nu'man bin Thabit ibn Zauti,- well known in Islamic History as 'Imam Abu Hanifa' and 'Imam Azam' - was the son of a Persian merchant. Comments: "I never came across a greater Alim of Kitabullah than Imam Muhammad (ra). The world knows that Sahih Bukhari has been accepted as ‘Asahhul Kutub’ unanimously (which means that as a collection it has collectively more sahih ahadith; this does not mean that each and every hadith of Bukhari is most authentic when compared to other ahadith found in different collections). In ‘Kitab al-Dhu’afa’, Imam Bukhari ﺭﺣﻤﺔ ﺍﻟﻠﮧ ﻋﻠﯿﻪ has said that Ovais Qarni’s sanad is doubtful ( ﻓﯽ ﺍﺳﻨﺎﺩﮦ ﻧﻈﺮ ) and this Jarh, according to the rules of Bukhari, is a serious one.
